Description

Foreign policy formulations have been greatly shaped by such various factors as state’s power and orientations, power struggles, regional dynamics, and geopolitics. In this era, the spaces and arena for articulating foreign policies have developed following the rapid changes of geopolitics, regional arrangements, and more importantly, the increased role of emerging powers. Such a dynamic offers potentials as well as challenges for the pursuit of foreign policy objectives and the projection of effective role and leadership for Indonesia and beyond.
