The research, usually shorten as “Update 2013”, was part of a long-term vision of EUROS. It mainly collect both government’s press release or mass-media expose on Indonesia and EU bilateral relations during 2013. In the report, EUROS made several commentaries andreview, especially on how EUROS put the dynamics of their relations in academic context, how we underline which would be the salient issues during 2013, and what it could bring to the future of Indonesia-EU relations.On a long-run, the research could be serves as a basis for EUROS to analyze the nature ofIndonesia – EU relations. EUROS planned to design a research or policy paper constructedfrom 5-years or 10-years basis of this “Update”research.
Riset ini mengumpulkan informasi mengenai hubungan bilateral antara Indonesia dan Uni Eropa yang terdapat pada media maupun rilis pers oleh pemerintah kedua negara selama tahun 2013. Selanjutnya, informasi yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan argumen akademis yang kemudian diberi catatan khusus untuk isu-isu penting dan masa depan hubungan Uni Eropa dan Indonesia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi posisi para kandidat presiden Amerika Serikat mengenai politik luar negeri, untuk kemudian memproyeksikan kecenderungan politik luar negeri Amerika Serikat berdasarkan hasil pemilihan presiden tahun 2016.

This research aimed to trace the origins and development of Humanitarian Initiative which is defined as movements done by civil society organisation and like-minded countries to discuss about nuclear weapon and its impacts to the people. This research used deliberative-argumentative approach, seeing how arguments influence changes of states’ behavior and positions in multilateral forums on nuclear weapon.
Penelitian ini bertujuan melacak asal mula dan perkembangan dari Inisiatif Kemanusiaan, yang didefinisikan sebagai suatu gerakan yang diinisiasi oleh organisasi masyarakat sipil dan negara-negara like-minded untuk mengarahkan kembali diskusi mengenai senjata nuklir kepada dampak-dampak yang ditimbulkannya kepada manusia. Inisiatif Kemanusiaan ini berbentuk serangkaian kegiatan diplomatik yang berujung pada tuntutan untuk merundingkan traktat pelarangan senjata nuklir. Pendekatan yang digunakan oleh riset ini adalah deliberatif-argumentatif, melihat bagaimana argumen memengaruhi perubahan sikap dan posisi negara-negara pendekatan kemanusiaan dan traktat pelarangan, yang tercermin di forum-forum multilateral terkait senjata nuklir.

This research project aims at examining the extent to which the newly issued Presidential Regulation (Perpres) on foreign refugees (125/2016) changes the treatment of asylum seekers and refugees both on the national and local level. Moreover, given that the irregular movement of refugees and asylum seeker from Indonesia to Australia has caused tensions between the two countries, this research project is offering new insights on how the changed legal circumstances will impact on the Indonesia-Australia relationship.
Proyek penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sejauh mana Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) tentang pengungsi asing (125/2016) mengubah perlakuan pencari suaka dan pengungsi baik di tingkat nasional maupun lokal. Selain itu, dengan maraknya pergerakan tidak teratur para pengungsi dan pencari suaka dari Indonesia ke Australia telah menyebabkan ketegangan antara kedua negara, proyek penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan baru tentang bagaimana perubahan keadaan hukum akan berdampak pada hubungan Indonesia-Australia.

This research consists of mapping the non-violent actions happening in Indonesia from 1999 to 2017. By collecting data from news articles, this research analyzed how non-violent actions might have contributed in the democracy consolidation process.
Memetakan aksi-aksi nir-kekerasan yang terjadi di Indonesia pada 1999-2017. Dengan mengumpulkan pemberitaan mengenai aksi nirkekerasan melalui media surat kabar, riset ini menganalisis bagaimana aksi nirkekerasan mungkin membantu konsolidasi demokrasi.
