Laras is currently a Research Staff at the Institute of International Studies UGM after previously working as the Institute’s Dissemination and Media Officer. With the main interests in digital governance, gender studies, and sustainable development, Laras previously worked on projects such as Advancing Circular Education for Sustainable Transformation (ACEST) (funded by the Ministry of Education), the institutionalization of gender audits in Yogyakarta-based universities (supported by the Global Campus Prevention for Violence Prevention), and was a founding member on HopeHelps UGM (an organisation focusing on campus sexual violence prevention).
