Nabilah Nur Abiyanti is a programme manager and researcher at the Institute of International Studies, Department of International Relations, Universitas Gadjah Mada (IIS UGM). Prior to undertaking her current role, she serves as a research coordinator at IIS UGM (2021-2023) and actively participates in human rights advocacy with Amnesty International Indonesia (2018) and the Aceh Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (2020). She holds a Master of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo. Her research experiences include agency among local NGOs in human rights advocacy, economic diplomacy, digital economy, and humanitarian disarmament. She also actively participates in humanitarian disarmament advocacy including the prohibition of nuclear weapons, autonomous weapons systems and the regulation of small arms and light weapons (SALW).
